Install ALDO
Get ALDO for your Mac.
- On macOS 13 and 14: right-click the app, then Open. On macOS 15 and later: System Settings, Privacy & Security, then Open Anyway. Later launches work as usual.
- macOS 13.2 or later, on an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 and later).
ALDO lives in the menu bar, with no icon in the Dock.
Sign in from your browser: no password is typed in the application window.
Allow the microphone and computer audio
- System Settings, Privacy & Security, Microphone: turn on ALDO, then relaunch the app.
- Allow ALDO in System Settings, Privacy & Security, Screen & System Audio Recording. That is what lets it hear the meeting.
- For the best sound, use the Mac's microphone or a wired headset: some Bluetooth headsets switch audio profile when the microphone turns on.
On macOS 15 and later, macOS shows its own window the first time ALDO listens to computer audio: choose Allow.
If macOS offers to quit and reopen ALDO, accept: you will resume exactly where you left off.
ALDO is not in the list? In that pane, add ALDO with the + button (Applications folder), then reopen ALDO.
A screenshot is taken only on request, with “Analyze screen”, and it is kept for 24 hours at most.
ALDO uses only sound and keeps no audio.

Your account
- You sign in from your browser: no password is typed in the application window.
- In your web space, you prepare your documents and CVs and find the history of your sessions.
- You can export your data (a JSON archive sent by e-mail) or delete your account, with 30 days to change your mind.
- You can withdraw your consent to third-party AI processing at any time; without it, you manage your account but do not start live sessions.
- The service is reserved for adults: an attestation is requested at sign-up.

A session that is created but not started uses no credit.
